MR. JOSEPH KANNESAN B.SC. (AGRIC.), L.LB. (HONS.)
MANAGING DIRECTOR/CHIEF PLANTATION CONSULTANT
Mr. Joseph Kannesan graduated with B. Sc. Agric. from University of Agricultural Sciences (Bangalore, India) in 1977. Consequently, he obtained his LL.B. from University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom) in 1995.
Mr. Kannesan has more than 30 years experience in the agricultural sector with employment and associations providing him with extensive exposure in some of the most prominent agricultural crops such as oil palm, rubber, cocoa, coconut, sugarcane, jatropha and patchouli.
He has also been responsible for the restructuring, rehabilitation and implementation of agricultural projects involving the abovementioned crops in numerous countries.
He also is reputed for his implementation of new projects alongside national socio-economic policies and treaties to develop and strengthen particularly third-world nation's national literacy and earning per capita.
Currently, Mr. Kannesan is the Managing Director and Chief Plantation Consultant for Narosh (M) Sdn. Bhd.

MR. EDWIN NATHAN DIP. ENG.
PLANTATION & ENGINEERING CONSULTANT (OPERATIONS)
Mr. Nathan graduated with a Diploma in Engineering in 1976, and thereafter went on to complete his Diploma in Industrial Engineering in 1981 at the Federal Institute of Technology, Malaysia. He has enhanced himself through various courses and seminars in management, manufacturing, quality control and production management.
Mr. Nathan started his career as an Assistant Manager in the Engineering Division at GATCO Malaysia. In 1979, he left the company to pursue his studies. In 1984, he progressed to Beiersdorf (M) Sdn. Bhd. as Assistant Production Manager in the Finishing Department. Within the company, he was promoted to Production Manager of the second factory, Medical-Latex (Dua) Sdn. Bhd. In 1990, he was appointed as Manufacturing Manager responsible for the complete running of the factory, which later on included additional responsibility of Environmental Affairs Officer and then appointed as Chairman of the Health & Safety Committee.
Mr. Nathan has excelled repeatedly, particularly during his tenure with Beiersdorf (M) Sdn. Bhd., in being able to design and engineer various innovative systems, and consequently successfully implementing and managing them. He has also traveled and trained extensively in production efficiency and technological improvements, putting him in a class of his own.
Currently, he is employed with Narosh (M) Sdn. Bhd. as Plantation Engineering & Operations specialist.

MS. SHIRLEY MARIA JACINTHA B.SC., L.LB. (HONS.)
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Ms. Shirley is graduated with Bachelor of Sciences in 1978 from Banglore University and then in 1995, with L.LB. (Hons.) from the University of Wolverhampton, U.K.
She began her career in 1979 with Cardinal Commodity (M) Sdn. Bhd. as a research officer responsible for data analysis of world commodities trading. In 1981, she migrated to Papua New Guinea and worked as financial controller of Sogeri Rubber Development. She left in 1982 to be a homemaker.
Subsequently, Ms. Shirley rejoined the workforce in 1988 as administrative officer in Macrina Enterprise dealing with the preparation and submission of tenders, and the management of income and expenditure for all project works. She was promoted to administrative assistant in 1992 and was responsible for overlooking procurement, tendering and all human resources aspects. In 1997, she resigned for better prospects with Perwik Sdn. Bhd. as Personnel & Administrative Officer.
She was promoted to Admin. & Sales Executive at Wangsa Idaman Sdn. Bhd. dealing with all aspects of sales, government statutory bodies, bank-end financing and legal matters, sale and purchase documentation and collections. In 1999, Ms. Shirley was transferred to Mancon Bhd. (HQ of Perwik SB & Wangsa Idaman SB) in Kuala Lumpur. She was responsible for all administration and legal matters of the company, and also dealt with contractual and sub-contractual legal matters. In 2000, she was promoted to Administrative Manager to participate in the company restructuring process.
Ms. Shirley resigned to join Shin Eversendai (M) Sdn. Bhd. in 2001 as Human Resource Manager. She was the Head of Department and in charge of Human Resource and company administration. She also revised and reorganized the preparation and implementation of company policy for management of Human Resources and Administration.
She is currently the Director of Administration and Finance of Narosh (M) Sdn. Bhd.
MR. JINNIL SINGH
PLANTATION CONSULTANT
Mr. Jinnil is 60 years old with 37 years under his belt in the Agriculture industry. He has worked both locally and overseas in various capacities. He started off as Officer in Charge of FELDA, then moved on as Consulting Estate Manager in Thailand, Field Manager in West New Britain (PNG), Group Project Manager in Western Highlands Province (PNG), Senior Manager in North Solomon Island (PNG), Consultant & Project Manager in Kalimantan (Indonesia), Area Forestry Manager in Sumatera (Indonesia), General Manager in Bengkulu (Indonesia) and finally, Manager of Field Operations for Higaturu Oil Palms Pty Limited (PNG).
His areas of expertise include crop cultivation, crop nurseries, logging operations, and infrastructure establishment. His prime crops include rubber, oil palm, cocoa and coffee.
TENGKU AZIZAN BIN TENGKU ABDULLAH SANI
PLANTING ADVISOR
Tengku Azizan is 62 years old with over 40 years in the Agriculture industry. He has been attached to: FELDA as Field Assistant and later Training Officer, Hap Seng Plantation as Estate Manager/Training Officer, Ariffin Estate Management Services as Administrative Officer, Asiatic Development Bhd. as Assistant Manager and later promoted to Estate Manager, Plantation Manager with P. T. Sg. Budi Group, Plantation Manager in Hasfarm Estate (Indonesia) and Sinar Mas Group as Plantation Manager.
His area of expertise is in oil palm nursery establishment, oil planting, field maintenance, training, plantation management, personnel and legislative liaison and cost management. His prime crops are rubber and oil palm.
MR. SURENDRAN VKR NAIR
PLANTATION MANAGER
Mr. Nair has 27 years experience in the Plantation industry. He has worked with FELDA from 1979 to 2006 initially as Field Assistant, then Assistant Manager and on to Area Plantation Manager. He has since progressed to work on a consultancy basis with Narosh (M) Sdn. Bhd.
His areas of expertise include oil palm planting, replanting, and setting up nurseries, harvesting of FFB, and overall plantation oil palm management; budgeting, performance appraisals, security and infrastructure establishment. His prime crop is oil palm.
MR. KANASAN C.K.VELU
PLANTATION MANAGER
Mr. Kanasan has 25 years exposure in the Agriculture industry. He has worked with FELDA as a Supervisor/Field Assistant several areas, and then been promoted to Assistant/Sen. Assistant and eventually Manager. In 2005, he was employed by Aramija Sdn. Bhd. on a consultancy basis.
His areas of expertise are land clearing and jungle felling, nursery establishment, plantation management, management of immature rubber on hilly and rough terrain, mechanization and irrigation techniques, and efficient production management. His prime crops include oil palm, rubber, and cocoa and acacia timber.
